Triple silver-coated sunglass

SGG COOL-LITE XTREME is a triple silver-coated solar control glass, which achieves extraordinary selectivity parameters exceeding those of double-layer glass. It means that this glass has the highest ratio of transmitted light to protect against solar heat maintaining a neutral appearance at the same time.

Three layers of silver are applied to the float glass base in the process of magnetron sputtering under vacuum conditions.

SGG COOL-LITE XTREME has been provided with coatings to protect against solar energy for use in residential and commercial buildings. It is perfect for use in façades and roofs of buildings wherever tempered or heat-reinforced glass is required.

Advantages of SGG COOL_LITE XTREME glass

This is the latest innovation as part of highly selective sunscreen coatings. This solution protects rooms from heating up, ensures optimum daylight inside, and minimizes discomfort associated with overheating in summer.

The glass also has a low thermal transmittance coefficient. This allows energy consumption for air conditioning and artificial lighting and heating costs to be significantly reduced at any time of year.

g-value for COOL-LITE XTREME 70/33 & 70/33 II is only 0.33. In other words, 67% of the solar radiation does not penetrate the building.

Low g value translates into significant savings in air conditioning costs, both in terms of required installation capacity and subsequent operational expenses.

Limitation of solar radiation by SGG COOL-LITE XTREME glass makes it unnecessary to install additional blinds or shutters in a number of cases.
