EPDM synthetic rubber gasket system - quality in every detail

It is expected that modern PVC windows will last even 30 years. This is possible with Schüco Living windows, among others, due to application of EPDM synthetic rubber gaskets. A key feature of EPDM rubber is the ability to demonstrate so-called "elastic recovery", which guarantees windows that are made of this material the required tightness throughout the entire service life. Other contemporary gaskets quickly lose their elasticity and gradually become more fragile and brittle over time; at the same time their effectiveness decreases by up to 50% within about 7 years.

A COST-EFFECTIVE INVESTMENT

Thermographic images clearly show locations within which thermal energy is getting out of control.
