Aluprof MB-70

It is an aluminium system, which is used to provide thermally- and acoustically-insulated exterior elements, e.g.: various types of windows, doors, vestibules, shop windows, spatial constructions. It includes an option with increased thermal insulation.

Why this system should be chosen?

Saving on heating costs

Saving on heating costs

MB-70 system is characterised by an incredibly low heat-transfer coefficient (U-value) due to use of special thermal spacers and gaskets. This is of great importance in the era of growing demands in terms of energy management and environmental protection.

Slim profile looks great as an element of modern single-family house, and it perfectly complements the design of a house with large glazing or non-standard window shapes.

Investing in the future

Investing in the future

Aluminium windows make an excellent investment: they increase value of the property and significantly reduce energy consumption. Aluminium profiles are also less susceptible to weather conditions and do not require painting.

Variety of colours and finishes

Coloured windows and doors make a strong emphasis on the façade and interiors. A few dozen of colour options combined with a range of finishes give designers full flexibility.

The profiles feature a three-chamber structure. Constructional depth of the window sections is: 70 mm (frame), 79 mm (sash), and in case of the doors: 70 mm and 70 mm, respectively. In case of a window, such depths of sash and casing sections give the effect of a single plane on the outside after closing it, and in case of a door, the effect of faced surface of sash and casing. The shape of profiles allows to obtain slender and durable windows and doors.

MB-70 system is characterised by an incredibly low heat-transfer coefficient (U-value) due to use of special thermal spacers and gaskets. This is of a great importance in the era of growing energy management and environmental protection requirements. The Uf coefficient for MB-70 system construction, depending on applied profiles and accessories, ranges from 1.5 to 2.39 W/(m2K). As part of the system, omega-shaped thermal separators with a width of 34 mm (windows) and 24 mm (doors) made of poly-amide reinforced with glass fibre were used. Shape of the spacers increases stiffness of profiles in comparison to flat spacers and facilitates drainage of sections, thus ensuring proper thermal insulation in all weather circumstances.

Tightness is ensured by use of special-purpose gaskets made of two-component EPDM synthetic rubber: solid and cellular, which guarantees long-term resistance to ageing during operation and very good thermal insulation. MB-70 is the first system in which this type of material was used to make a central gasket.

The system allows for use of glazing units from 21 mm to 57 mm thick in window sashes and from 12 mm to 48 mm in fixed windows and door sashes. Such a wide range of filling thicknesses guarantees that all typical and non-standard glass can be used.

A large selection of colours as part of the standard range enables to meet the needs of the most demanding customers. Colour coatings are made by powder coating or anodising.

MB-70 system makes a basis for solutions providing increased thermal insulation: MB-70 HI, MB-70US HI as well as a cold and warm façade based on MB-70CW HI windows.

This system also enables constructing anti-burglary windows and doors in classes: RC1 - RC3 and MB-70RC4 windows with the highest burglary resistance in RC4 class.
